2 Giveaways!

Alright guys--we are halfway to our week before we draw for the $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. Thursday we are drawing. Check HERE for more information about the Future Hope Project and on how to get entered into the drawing. There are 7 different ways that you can earn up to 16 entries.

Also, Gin from Hope Aid International is also hosting a giveaway for the Future Hope Project where you can win a handmade item made by one of the Ugandans that Hope Aid helps.

From her site--"As an added incentive to participate -- each person who sends a care package or donates a minimum of $10 towards the project will have their name entered into a drawing for a handmade Ugandan craft made by one of our Hope Aid beneficiaries in Fort Portal!!!"

Who doesn't want a handmade item from Uganda???

Need help finding items for your donation?--Let me know. Grab a button over on the right to add to your blog to help promote the FHP. Don't forget to add your link to Mister Linky if you posted a blog or added a button to your site.

Hiya Abbie! My name is Kimberly and I learned about the Future Hope Project from Ginger. I think it is a fantastic project! I am taking my two daughters - age 4 and 8 months - to shop for the care package items tomorrow. I have also posted info promoting the project on my blog. I really hope a lot of folks participate. What a great way to honour mothers everywhere!

I have really enjoyed visiting your blog and will definitely be back!

Fondest regards, Kimberly

Hey Abbie! How are you. Well, I just thought I would tell you that we go to the same church as your brother-in-law! I new they looked familiar when I saw them and I just figured it out a couple of weeks ago. She looks like she is so ready to pop. I guess Thursday is the big day. Well, hope all is well.

Ok, I think I read something about a Mr. Linky -- and thought I saw it a few days ago. Did he disappear?

Ah well. I've been known to remember incorrectly (many times!).

Either way, I've posted a button on, and promoted the website on Facebook and Twitter (miztremblay). Hoping to put a blog post on my other blog (more traffic there, I think).

And depending on if there's a deadline for the care packages, I'm hoping to send at least one off! Thanks for sharing the cause with us!
