Prayer Suggestion #3

Today, we begin our feast in prayer for the children and their families living in poverty. I plan to have ideas throughout the day to aid in your prayers for children living in poverty. If you are stuck not knowing how to pray for children and their families for 20 minutes or longer for some, you are welcome to stop by and get some ideas. They will be simple and not meant to take away from how the holy spirit guides you through your prayer.

The last two posts mentioned the rising food costs where we live and how we are affected. Just recently Haiti was hit hard with a chain of tropical storms. People were left dead, homes were destroyed, and crops were ruined.

A friend of mine blogged asking people to remember our Neighbors in Crisis. She later was asking for prayers for one of her sponsored children who lives in Haiti. His home was destroyed during yet another storm roaring through Haiti. Please pray for the families who have been affected by the many tropical storms this last season. For people living in places like Haiti, the blow is harder than most other places. They barely have enough food and sometimes not enough. They barely have shelter from the storms and they have no where to go.

Consider giving to Compassion's Disaster Relief Fund.
