Prayer Suggestion #2

Today, we begin our feast in prayer for the children and their families living in poverty. I plan to have ideas throughout the day to aid in your prayers for children living in poverty. If you are stuck not knowing how to pray for children and their families for 20 minutes or longer for some, you are welcome to stop by and get some ideas. They will be simple and not meant to take away from how the holy spirit guides you through your prayer.

Last post, I mentioned how the toll of rising food prices are effecting others more than ourselves. I know it can be difficult to not know how you will feed your family or pay your bills. When we face cut backs or wage decreases with our jobs, we instantly feel anxiety about taking care of ourselves and our families. I can't help but to think of those living in poverty that wonder how they will feed their children just enough to keep them alive. Maybe once a day....sometimes once a week.

Will you pray for that God gives them peace and joy even in the hardest of times? Will you continue to pray that we, as a people, will help give them hope by helping?
