Prayer Suggestion #16

Today, we begin our feast in prayer for the children and their families living in poverty. I plan to have ideas throughout the day to aid in your prayers for children living in poverty. If you are stuck not knowing how to pray for children and their families for 20 minutes or longer for some, you are welcome to stop by and get some ideas. They will be simple and not meant to take away from how the holy spirit guides you through your prayer.

Bead for Life helps Ugandan women by providing jobs. They hand roll the beads made with recycled paper, string them, and are later sold through BeadforLife. Over 75% of the proceeds go back to the community in the forms of Health, Education and Training, Life Skills and Finances, and Affordable Housing. This means women and their families in Uganda, many who are suffering from AIDS, are able to make an income and support themselves by making and selling these wonderful paper-bead necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry.

Please pray for all the men and women all over the world looking for jobs. Ask God to lead them to jobs that are do not disgrace themselves and will provide enough for their families.

Sponsor a child online through Compassion's Christian child sponsorship ministry. Search for a child by age, gender, country, birthday, special needs and more.

I have some of their beads and have gotten so many compliments on them! They are one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. You can go to their website and order them for the same price you buy them at the home shows.
