More park time and pictures this time!

The weather here in Oklahoma is about to drive us all crazy. Between all the weather changes and the Oklahoma allergens we are all just trying to keep from getting sick. We have had a couple of nice days that allowed us to spend some more time outside. Lately, we have been cherishing these days. We get a good day and then rumors of flurries the next couple of days to follow. I am just ready for it to get warm and STAY warm!!!

Like I said, we have been taking advantage of the warm sun when we can. Friday we went to the park with a friend. We took a much needed walk first. Growing up my dad and I would take walks around our neighborhood. I always enjoyed any time that we had a chance to really talk, but walks always just seemed special. So to do this day, I still find walks very therapeutic. Anyway-so we went walking and then decided to let the kids play for awhile. You know those times when you wish you had your camera? Well, we had one of those. Aleeyah and Trey (my friend's son) were playing in a metal frame truck of sorts. They are "driving" along and Trey proceeded to put his arm around Aleeyah, but on the back of the seat like they were on their first date. It was so adorable.

Well, Saturday was actually a little bit warmer than Friday so we decided to have a picnic at the park. As we were leaving, Chris had asked if Aleeyah if she was ready to go to the park and play-without hesitation she asked if Trey was going to be there. I guess they may have something more going on than we first thought. ha ha. We decided to try a different park, but ended up being a little disappointed by the equipment. We had a good time anyway. Aleeyah, of course, didn't want to eat because she wanted to go play and had no intention on letting Chris and I eat our lunch either. We talked about it and she realized that she wasn't going to get out of eating something and then she patiently waited for us to finish up. The pictures below are her at the park. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and spending time together.

Sunday was a pretty busy day as usual. By time we got home from church and lunch, laid Aleeyah down for a nap, and got changed out of our church clothes, I didn't have me a whole lot of time before I had to leave to go back up to the church for our monthly X-cite Nite. After I got home, we played Mario Kart (which Aleeyah loved), put the girl to bed, and then ended our night with a movie.

All in all, it was a pretty relaxing weekend. Hope your weekend was just as relaxing! Here are the pics....
